Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Legesa collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Account information you provide (name, email, and your practice profile - jurisdiction, practice area, role, and optional firm name).

Matter content you upload or enter - documents, questions, and the case-brain data Legesa derives from them.

Basic usage and diagnostic data to operate and improve the service.

2. How we use it

To provide the service: to read your documents, answer your questions with citations, and maintain your case brain across sessions.

To tailor responses to your jurisdiction and practice, and to support your account.

Your matter content is not used to train models.

3. Storage and security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to your account.

Legesa uses third-party infrastructure to operate, which persists conversation history, uploaded files, and case-brain state so your matter can be remembered. Because of this, we do not claim literal zero-retention.

4. Your choices

You can delete your data at any time. Deleting a matter removes its documents and case-brain state from your workspace.

You can request access to or export of your account data by contacting support.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share content with service providers only as needed to operate the service (for example, the AI infrastructure that processes your documents), under confidentiality obligations.

6. Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent to team@legesa.com.
