Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Legesa. Questions can be sent to team@legesa.com.
1. The service
Legesa is an AI-assisted legal workspace for attorneys and legal professionals. It helps you analyze matters, draft documents, research questions, build chronologies, and review discovery, grounded in documents you provide.
Legesa is a tool that assists your professional judgment. It does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with Legesa.
2. No legal advice; your responsibility
Output from Legesa may be incomplete or incorrect, and can reflect the limits of the documents and sources available to it. You are responsible for reviewing all output and verifying anything you rely on - Legesa flags material it cannot verify, but the final judgment is yours.
You are responsible for your own compliance with the rules of professional conduct and confidentiality obligations that apply to you.
3. Acceptable use
Use Legesa only for lawful purposes and only with documents you have the right to upload. Do not use the service to violate any person’s rights, to attempt to breach security, or to interfere with other users.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
4. Data handling
Your documents and matter data are encrypted in transit and at rest, are not used to train models, and are accessible only through your account. You can delete your data at any time.
Legesa relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, which stores conversation history, uploaded files, and case-brain state so your matter can be remembered across sessions. We do not claim literal zero-retention.
5. Trials, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans may begin with a free trial. During the current preview, no payment is collected. When billing is enabled, plan pricing and renewal terms will be presented before any charge, and you may cancel at any time.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legesa is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
